    LOVE

James- I loved that commercial! :D 2lane- Congrats on the new car, glad to hear you get to wind it out! I have my fun with track days on a road course. ;) As for the Love of a vehicle, here's a great quote from "Serenity": Capt. Malcolm Reynolds: "Love. You can learn all the math in the...

Progress Thread Slow Boat To China

I'm all for things that "work" whatever the combination might be. ;) I've seen a couple of "Monster Miatas" with both 5.0 engines and various LSx engines in them. Crazy stuff, and it's surprising how well those motors fit in those little cars!

Wheels-Tires Best tires to run in cold climate areas.

Oh... I thought 10-15*C was "warm" for Canadians! :D

Wheels-Tires Best tires to run in cold climate areas.

What kind of "cold" temps are you talking about? If it's regularly around 0*C or lower, I'd go at least with all-seasons, or maybe even snow tires (if you're going to get caught in the snow occasionally with it). I've heard very good reports on the Conti. Extreme Contact DWS tires. :)

Exhaust Tamper Proof Your New Exhaust

We have a problem in this area with guys using a sawzall to steal cats from under delivery trucks. In this case, spot-welding the exhaust would not help. :nonono:

    2011 Faux Gas Cap Details!

The collars go in the "big holes" on the left and right, then the pins in the back of the faux cap fit in those when it is put on. They do grip it some, but gently prying it off gets them out. Go slow and be careful not to gouge the paint on the trunk lid! :)

    T Boned

I hope the other guy was at least cited for the crash? Did he have a license and insurance? Good luck, I hope everything works out on this.

Wow... As he went merrily flying by, I was thinking, "Wait... wasn't that a sign for a roundabout?" o_O Yep, sure was!

    Should I Do It?

It's okay you at least stopped and asked. If her dad had been home, the worst he could have said was, Get Off My Lawn! :D

Does Anyone Know Why Exhaust Prices Have Shot Up?

I can remember back in the '80's when those cheesy commercials were running all the time to "Buy Gold!" and everyone would laugh and say how foolish that was... :bang:

Electrical Ford Electrical Connectors - How To Disconnect

Pair of dikes usually works! ;) But if neither of them are good at electrical, you could always resort to wire cutters... :D

    Noob With Mustang Powered Miata

Monster Miata! :nice: There's quite a few folks who have both a Miata and a Mustang, and the 5.0 swap into the Miata is pretty popular, too. I just recently sold my 2002 Miata, but it just had the regular 1.8l engine in it. Fun car anyways. :)
