    Yea, I wouldn't try that anymore. Have you dumped the tranny fluid and put GM Synchromesh in it yet? If not I'd be doing that pretty soon. Other than that, take it easy and see what comes of the TSB.

    when you put a shifter in it, it will be louder and you will hear things you didn't hear before. Not necessarily a bad thing.

    I don't remember. It was last year sometime after my 2cnd or 3rd tranny failure and they just offered it to me. I have 7 year 75,000 warranty, after the 3/36 is up I have a 50.00 deductible for the remainder of the 7/75

    If nothing happens here in 3-4 weeks I'm gonna start looking for a T-56 on Ebay. For no more than I want to do to my car (400-500 rwhp) the T-56 will hold up just fine.

    It's a scapegoat for them, but if they go that route they have to prove it which means you getting a layer and all that and most people aren't willing to do that.

    If you have a chip in it, take it out. Put everything back to stock if possible. They will be able to tell if there has been a chip installed but if the car is super clean and pretty much stock, they may not check.
