    it sucks, but you'll probably have to baby it til the TSB comes out, and if and/or it breaks make sure the stock parts, if possible are back on the car(shifter, etc........)

    Yea I have powertrain warranty til 2008 or 75,000 miles but that don't make me as a customer any more happy:( Hopefully a TSB is in our near future :)

    Just curious if you heard anything. Don't mean to be a pain just trying to stay on top of this. Plus my sevicing dealer actually called to see if I heard anything. Plus I had a guy at my work try to contact this Jon guy at Tremec and they are in contact but I haven't heard anything for a week.

    I'm not worried about the poser issue, I eventually want a 03 Cobra hood, 00 Cobra R front bumper cover, and a Saleen rear spoiler.

    Yea, Email that guy at Tremec and see if he has a better idea of the date for the TSB, if there even will be one.

    I'm pretty positive they are brass. When I looked at my old tranny/pieces I remember looking at the 1-2 stynchro set and was bronze/gold in color and the tech said it was brass. It was warped and all tore up.

    I do believe they are brass, as well as the ones in the T-56. I heard of people with 03 Cobras putting synchros from a Viper T-56 in because they are a different material.     That's bull***** :rollseyes: Same tranny so what will work with a 03 will work with the 02 and 01, etc.......but we the consumer are stupid and don't know anything :rollseyes:

    That's stupid because they are the tranny, don't matter year, from 01 to 03 they are all the same and have the same ****ty parts in them. Oh well they can fix it with the same ****ty parts and when the TSB comes out I'll take it back.

    fordparts.com showed the parts being availabe. If my tranny is acting up now I should be able to take it in and have those parts put in, right? I'm gonna call the dealer and ask. If they can reproduce the problem(popping out of second) they should be able to order the parts and when they come in...
