    Brake proportioning valve???

    I have to agree. No need to change the whole valve if you don't need to. Unless it split open (highly doubtful) you should not have to replace the entire valve.

    Pull them off, carefully scrape the paint off the back of them. Then clean them well with alcohol and paint them with Flourescent orange Testors model paint. Simple. I tried REd, Orange and Flourescent Green to see how they would come out. The green was cool, but the orange looked the best.

    Yes they are Phantoms. you can see the bottom of the gauges in the car, not that well, but who looks at the low end of the speedo anyway?
