    '66 cowl restoration

it doesnt look that bad - you could weld it back up if you wanted to and are handy with a mig. just stich it up with small welds to keep it from warping too much.

Im producing 300ish FWHP and using an organic clutch. No problems at all and much nicer feel than the kevlar I was using.

    Need Aussie valve train recipe

By most accounts you dont need to change the valve size on the 2v's. A little tickle porting them is usually all you need.

    Need Aussie valve train recipe

If you want a set of the best aussie clevelands youll ever get, get TK on performanceforums to build and port them for you. Do a search on there and check out his porting work. Its second to none. If the heads are already in the state I guess you can ignore this, but if they havent left...

Anyone Know About RRS Suspension ?

I think Tony has the online rights - pretty sure there are some other companies with US distribution and support rights out there. The RRS stuff is pretty good. I cant compare it to TCP as I havent tried it, but its been going fine in my car for several years.

    afr 185s

You could maybe try twisted wedge heads - you probably wont need to flycut with those.

Very impressive numbers. Nice to see more turbo windsors out there.

    need advice for 289 combo

TFS TW heads + TFS stage 1 cam, edelbrock 600cfm and a weiand intake on a 100% stock roller block netted me over 250RWHP which would give you your 300fwhp. The idle is very mild and doesnt have any problems with vacuum. Getting 300hp through other routes may involve more compromises.

    afr 185s

There is a very high probability of PV contact with AFR185's You will want to at least fly cut the pistons IMO.

    question on driveline angle

v8only is 100% correct about getting the pinion angle matched up - its all about the working angle of the uni joints, not the angle that the engine/trans sit at.

Dumb question - removing alt belt for dyno?

rbohm - I just had a neat idea - how about wiring in the the field wire into a WOT switch - when at WOT, alt isnt chewing juice! That gives you a mod that you can leave on the car all the time! And if it does give you 1 or 2 hp, its the cheapest 1 or 2 hp you will ever get.

    Intake heater hose fitting size

FYI I currently have 2 temp sensors in my intake - 1 in the correct space and one in the heater hole. The other water pump line is just blocked off. I have been running this setup for 2+ years with no problems at all.

    Intake heater hose fitting size

Thanks guys. Craig, When I took mine off aaaaaaaaaages ago (since binned hence asking the question) it seemed to be just a rightangled pipe with thread. Do you know how big the restrictor is? If its not too big I might just run -8 instead of -10 line
