    right, so the settlement price will be $1700? take the $1700, then buy the car back for salvage cost (just guessing, but maybe $200?) then fix the car yourself, have it inspected and safetied, and your back on the road ....probably with money left over in your pocket.

    :shrug: from the pics, looks like it only needs a fender? how is the front end alignment? if the car is as good a driver as you say it is, I would buy the salvage and fix it yourself. have you had a body shop (a reputable one) take a look at it?

    very nice! i especially like the drain plug and fill plug. just finished rebuilding my trak-lok, and what a pain refilling the rear end :mad: I had to take the left side exhaust off to make room to get the gear oil bottle up there!

    :( still working on mine, putting the rear end back together. hopefully have 'er ready for next weekend. on the plus side, the new '01 F150 winterbeater ain't so bad to drive :D not like last year when i couldn't wait to get rid of that old Mazda truck!
