    rear suspension

    i just put my quads back in last week... what a difference (took the quads off 2 years ago when i did my suspension), the rear feels so much more solid back there going over these crappy oklahoma roads

    cooling

    if you don't have a 130 amp alternator, you may not have enough juice for an electric fan. Before I did my electric fan upgrade, i was having cooling issues and a new fan clutch worked wonders.

    3G just installed....

    just get that overdrive pulley that 5L5 posted and your problem will be solved. The alternator is just spinning too slow so the smaller pulley will increase the RPM's of the alternator. Even if you have a 300 amp alternator, if it is spinning too slow, it won't create current.

    Gear Install Prices

    join a local mustang group and have a club member do the install...doing that i was only charged $100...had to help him hold stuff but I learned a lot.

    3.73 Speedo Correction

    with 3.73's you might still not be able to get the speed 100% correct. I believe 89 and older you can get the correct speedo gear but 90 and up they changed and you can only correct up to 3.55 rear. 50resto will tell ya.

    Radiator which one to get?

    I went to Napa, got a Modine 2 core replacement radiator after I blew my upper radiator hose driving down to Tucson on I-10 one hot summer day. With the 2 core, my temp does not get over 195, idling, in stop and go Phoenix traffic. No need for those expensive radiators

    Brake help

    no, you cannot use the ranger axles if you want to run 94-95 rear disc brakes. You have to use 94-98 axles.

    Who has removed their control arms??????

    when i did mine, put the jack on the control arm and jack to the point there is no pressure whatsoever on the bolt and it will slide right out. At least for me since I don't have to worry about rust here :) If you torch it, just get a propane torch from vatozone....$15

    73mm caliper upgrade on 89,5.0L Mustang with drum brakes

    That's why you go 5 lug and convert to Cobra brakes :) and rear disc....big difference from stock when trying to stop from 80+ mph.

    did the bump steer kit actually help?? I've heard yes and no. I have bump steer real bad after i lowered and put on the Mach wheels.

    5 Lug Help!!!

    go with the sn95 spindles up front so you can run Cobra brakes and convert to rear disc....brakes feel so much better when you have to hit the brakes hard going 85....you actually slow down.
