    Another new development. I found a 3550 but it is the ford version that was in the cobra R in 1995. It 1420 without the bell housing etc. Is that a decent price for a 3550? With no bell etc?

    A friend of mine (recently met) has a late 80's gt. It is speed density, the engine is stock except for new rods and a 30 over job. he is running a E303 cam and e7 heads. I always thought it wouldnt work on a speed density car. And it work damn well on his . He is running 7.90's all night...

    all good advise...you can run without the egr eliminator gizmo but it will throw a code. i have eliminated all of my egr stuff as well. also you can remove the hockey puck vaccum unit in the right fender.

    probably could but the relay under the seat comes from the eec-iv so i dont know if that would cause any thing else to happen. although the same could be true for turning off the inertia switch

    Hey Chris Welcome on btw, I am with BMO. I am all for following directions but the schrader valve is the way to go. If you want to play it safe you can turn the switch off, I will show you how tonight if ya want.
