    if you shift fast enough the rpm's shouldn't drop that much, especially the way the IAC is set up on these cars, the rpms are actually meant to hang a little bit after you press in the clutch to save a little bit of gas mileage or something like that. it might be psychological?

    nice list there srothfuss. just one change though. i think he should consider a better intake manifold to go with the bigger tb (86 was only a 58mm tb instead of 60mm). with the full exhaust he's got, and the "performance cam" the only restriction then would be those e6's :nonono:

    why do they call those waffles? i would think they'd have a squares all over them or something. don't like them anyway. the ponies look good, and i'll agree with everyone else the all silver tribars look better than the black/polished cobra r ones did IMO

    is it just first gear that's different in that tranny? if so, it would actually be harder to spin second, due to the fact that at the top of first you'd be at a higher speed, and it's easier to spin tires at lower speeds.

    pcv = positive crankcase ventilation. if you have a line running from your oil filler neck to your tb/egr housing, then your pcv is transferring boost from your intake to your crankcase (where the oil is) and popping the dipstick out like a soda pop bottle cap

    i got a t5 from pickapart for 150 and i had to pull it, i just needed some hard parts from the inside. f you're sure it'll need a rebuild AND you have to pull it yourself, i wouldn't pay him anythign over 200
