    Yep. I will get a whole chunk with 3.70 and some kind of limited slip or locker. I thought it had to be 28 spline.

    So Versaille does not have the tapered axles? I thought they were and that axle swaps were very hard to find parts for. Hmmm. I have a Versaille axle in mine. Perhaps I will swap to 31 spline when I do gears.

    I don't know, I thought they have tapered axles that no one makesin 31 spline. I thought that you cannot shorten them either. Now I am not so sure.

    Plenty of Mustangs did come with 9" rears stock. In 36 years your Mustang could also have a replacement. There should be a tag on the rear (well, if you are lucky, I was) and plug those codes in for us. Also, there are some decent sites with decodes and identification info...

    Opinions for rear gears with a T5

    What is your first gear ratio? That matters. I noticed that the World class has a pretty steep 1st, as does TKO. Mine is 3.27 and I believe that too low will make 1st gear useless. That would suck also.
