Anyone have a wolfe racecraft roll bar?

Yep. Sure do. I ran the RSD 6 point rollbar in my C6. I opted out of the Wolfe Rollbar since the rear mounting points did not attach where I wanted them. My buddy, "Peter Pan", ran the Wolfe rollbar in his C5 vette. His car made 800rwhp, and ran some great high speed runs at the Texas Mile...

    Anyone heard of Fastlane?

Thanks, Bryan. I don't know of anybody personally with a car built or tuned by them, so I can't comment on them. I do know John Hennessey personally, and I can tell you that you're going to want to use another shop unless you plan on doing a 50-75k build. They don't mess around with us small...

Very nice! 60's should give you room to grow, especially if you add a meth kit to fuel the beast in the future. Have you decided what you're going to do gear wise? Btw, did you see what the yellow stock bottom end car that your tuner is rivals with run last week in Pheonix? It's a beast with...

    Tire sizes whats the biggest?

305/40-18 is a very tall tire. My buddy had rubbing issues with them on his GT500 and went back to 305/30-18. I've run probably 20-25 sets in all brands except Hoosier. I liked my Toyo TQ drag radials in my last C5 in the 500hp range. They were 315/30-18's.

And way too much money, Will. Like your brother and trucks, it's all the same. Automobile enthusiast, whatever your flavor, dump a chit ton of their income on these things. It's a lifestyle

Engine Best performance per dollar parts?

+1 with Gearbanger 101. I only suggested nitrous as it is cheap. A blower is a great choice. I've had 4 blowers on my 3 different 2v mustangs and 3 corvettes. Blowers absolutely scream. If you plan on keeping it simple, I'd go with a PD blower, since the 4.6 2v is an absolute tark turd. It...

Rut row. Consider your life changed now. Once you start racing, it's an addicting lifestyle. Congrats on running some decent times in that DA up in mountains. Every .1 you drop from your 60ft, you will gain about .2 in overall ET. Once you get to the 1.7 area, .1 will knock off about .15 off...

Engine Best performance per dollar parts?

150 wet shot/rune and a set of MT or BFG drag radials.

DA is always high in El Paso, but you can still run decent times with a blower out there. My buddy Albert, hasn't run any faster in Houston the 2 times he has come to town in his stock bottom end C5. This was a 9.44 pass on a T trim(smaller blower than yours). DA was around 6000ft if I remember...

You gotta run meth. With the amount of money involved in your build, a meth kit is the smartest thing you can do. I have friends making 800-1000rwhp on 87 pump gas and a ton of meth. They choose to rely on the meth for fueling/octane, and let the speed density tune pull it back if the car goes...

    Progress Thread The Re-Rebuild..

I'd replace the input shaft as sneaky said. Why not bump the compression up to 10.1-10.5:1 with meth though? Good luck! 2v's FTW. Alky Control FTW on meth kits.

No problem! Just remember, boost is like a drug. If you have the bottom end built right, have proper fueling and a spot on tune, turn it up! As I said, a very knowledgeable tuner will know what they are doing, so if the fuel drops, the motor will yank timing and you should be fine. Also, make...

That's the loudest damn BOV I've heard. My friend Jmuck makes around 1000rwhp through a YSI on a similar setup that I'm going with in his 01. When the car revs, you can't hear a single thing besides the Big Red. There were about 40-1000 to 1800hp cars all cranking up in the pits at the last...

You can mount just about any BOV in trick locations. Main thing is to keep compressor surge down, all will do it if you pick the right size/spring. A perfect BOV for a D1SC(1400cfm blower)would be a Tial 50. I ran 2 different Vortech BOV's, 1 turbosmart, and then settled on a Tial 50 (#3 spring)...

    T-56

Stock T56's do suck. I've had them before and have one now. Going back with a TR 6060. Not sure if they make a conversion for the mustang, but there is no comparison, and stock, it is a hell of a lot stronger than a stock T56.
