Chrome Wheels Or Stay Flat Black? -

I like the black. If you didn't have the silver/chrome lip on the black, I think it would be too much. Both look great. Some say the murdered out look is out dated, but I think the Cobra R's could be called the same. Eitherway, car looks good. :nice:

    Tires

Why so wide? 315's look great. Perfect width for a aero/sn95. Too big starts to look ridiculous on these cars. Are you pushing 900-1000hp and need the extra width?

    Procharger P1sc Vs. Kb 2.1

Yep, My "buddy" makes 940rwhp on a 402 with 87 octane and meth injection. F1A procharger. I did lay the smack down on him bad, 60-170. d98gt was trailing and witnessed it.

    Procharger P1sc Vs. Kb 2.1

I use Julio's Alky Conrol kit. He is a mustang guy, but nobody in vette world now puts blowers on their cars without a kit. My backup tuner and good buddy, owns Auto Adrenaline Performance here in Houston. They work on 90% Fords, and that is all he uses too. The Snow Performance kit is good, and...

Losing Interest In The Mustang Until...

Yep! Nice pickup. Should make more power under the curve at similar boost levels too.

    Procharger P1sc Vs. Kb 2.1

Look at the kit, not the headunit if going centri. Twin screw blowers tend to be popular with the 4.6 crowd because of how little torque they make. The exact reason you have 4.10's in your car. Multiply that torque and improve the low end. Those 4.10 gears will fit a centri kit well. But look...

    Supercharged 97 Mustang Gt

Why are you jumping to injectors right away? AFR is rich under boost. Not sure that you need them if your FP is good and the car is staying rich. Again, log the car, and a tuner can see what duty cycle they are at. You need to get the car to a tuner, asking people on the net on what you need...

    Supercharged 97 Mustang Gt

Might want to have a tuner look over it and log it on the street for piece of mind. AFR seems good at WOT. He will be able to tell how much timing the car has, if it is detonating at WOT, etc. Sounds like a nice car!

    4.6 Short Block

It will run like a dog no matter what you plan to do with the car. Low compression is not good, it's old school thinking no matter what you do with the car like I posted in another thread. NA/Nitrous-11.1:1+ FI-10.1:1-10.5:1.

1997 Mustang Gt 2valve With A 02 Engine Vortech Sc

Intercooler. Not sure why you went with such low compression. That's old school and the car will be slow until boost comes in. Your best bet is to run an Alky Control Dual meth kit. I'd run two M15 nozzles. Turn the wick up all the way and max the blower out and let it eat, get a good SD...

    New Track Videos

This is exactly what I was thinking. I really, really like the idea of launching the car at a higer tire PSI, and a hard slip with the clutch. Then, work your way down on PSI and then you adjust your launch with it. I've gone low 1.8's at 260rwhp with nitto drag radials on my 98GT with stiff C...

    New Track Videos

Looking good! You should be getting a better 60ft than that though. Definitely a lot more in the car. Try adjusting air pressure, etc in the tires.

    Turbo Npi 10.53@131

Bill Pioneered the Bolt On PI world, along with KenB and some other guys. Almost all of them are gone. JL didn't have a mustang(but NPI), which was even more impressive. I think that the 2v 4.6 is the most overlooked muscle/sports car of the last 15-20 years. And rightfully so in all honesty...

    Turbo Npi 10.53@131

Oh, BTW, do you have any magazines lined up or have you contacted them? I think your car would do well in MM&FF or 5.0 with a nice spread detailing all of your accomplishments. You have the pics, videos, and timeslips to back it all up, and on top of that, the car looks fantastic. Just a thought.

    Turbo Npi 10.53@131

It only took me 12psi to get 9's, but hey, who is counting? :p Badass man! That is super impressive for a 2v. It takes time and somebody like you to really push the limits of what has been done. Big props for staying true and not changing course.

Forced Induction Buying A Vortech Kit Have Questions

We would need to know the fueling setup, how much timing, compression, etc. It's hard to tell, but we could give it a shot. I keep my AFR at 10.8:1 on my wideband under boost.

Forced Induction Buying A Vortech Kit Have Questions

Where are you seeing that FP at? Are you seeing that pressure at the rail with a gauge? My tuner always kept my Fuel Pressure at 60psi at idle and inside gauge read the same as the gauge on the rail, so I'm not sure on a 2/4v car. I've always stuck with 60psi, whether at 570rwhp, or 850-900rwhp...

Forced Induction Buying A Vortech Kit Have Questions

Nate, do not even think twice about tapping the oil pan. It is simple to do. I've had 3 blowers on my last vette. A Vortech V3 SI, a Vortech V7 YSI, and a Novi 1500. Vortech owns Paxton, same blowers in similar sizes. For instance, an SI equals a 1200, a T-trim equals a 1500, a JT trim equals a...
