    failsafe engine mode!!! help

I would refuse to pay for the fix or possibly even demand that they take the car back and give you a full refund. I haven't experienced fail safe mode though.

    Glassback

I'd be scared of doing something like that aftermarket. If it isn't done right it will leak and it would be a pain to fix. Trading up to a new mustang gives you a new warranty and assurance of a quality job on the glassback.

Question on the 1/4 window louvers....

I have ones off ebay (parents got them for me as a Christmas gift) and they are actually very good quality and the paint matched perfect. Mine do block some visibility, but its not terrible. Here is a shot from what it looks like if you were to turn your head and look out: My biggest...

    Price of 2010 Stang

As long as I can sweet talk my dealer into giving me X-plan like I did on the Shelby GT I almost bought, I'll be happy!

    Age check.

I purchased my 2000 brand new, 100% cash (that I earned on my own... no mommy/daddy handouts) at 15) :nice: This one I'm making payments on, although I was still able to put a sizeable downpayment on it. I'm 23 now for those who missed it earlier...

Who here is going to buy the new camaro?

Well the rumors say the 2010 GT will be 400 hp, but I was saying either the Z28 or SS (I think SS will be the lower end model this time around) will have 400 hp. That will likely come in more expensive than the GT like it always has. The higher end model of the Camaro will have 422 hp. I...

Who here is going to buy the new camaro?

Did you really just say "only" 3800 lbs? GT equivalent will be 400 hp and GT500 equivalent (or maybe Shelby GT is better comparison) will be 422 hp.

    engine news on 2010 ?

I thought I read somewhere that 2010 was supposed to retain the same 4.6 we have now, but for 2011 they are bumping it to a 400 hp version of the 5 liter.

    Exhaust opinion - 2008 GT 5spd

You could also invest in a bluetooth headset like a jawbone which does a phenomenal job at eliminating background noise. Plus, chances are your state will soon be passing some type of law requiring use of a hands free device while driving.

Mustang vandalized - body shop or dealership?

Just bring it to the place that has the best reputation for quality work. FYI, there is absolutely no rule or law saying that insurance companies have to pay for OEM parts. There aren't any laws that protect you from that either.

Who here is going to buy the new camaro?

A lot of it will depend on what happens with the 2010 Mustangs and if/when I decide to purchase a condo. If I buy a condo before I'm ready for a new car (which will probably be in the next couple years), I'll potentially stick with my car, or I'll just get a new 2010/11. Otherwise, if they come...

Are the 08s faster than the 05s?

Didn't the 07's+ come with extra smog equipment or something like that that added 50-100 lbs?

I'm being quoted $700-800 for gear swap?!

As kooldawg mentioned, one of our local club sponsors often runs specials for us for under $400 for parts, labor, everything.

Found this on another board: GT500 crash...

Seems weird that any "drag racing" insurance doesn't cover it during the actual race. From what I've seen, most policies only exclude damage during the actual competition - not while waiting for a competition. AKA if someone rear ends you while you are waiting your turn, its typically covered...

Anybody figure out their car is too low after its too late???

Its not that I don't like the size, but I personally don't like the style of the wheels. I split my time between DC and LA, so you can't use that arguement there :-) I'm running my stock 18's, but that's because I haven't yet found a set of wheels that I like more than the stockers to make it...

2010, will it be better than this?

I love the high performance luxury cars like the IS-F, M3, C63, S4, and the CTS-V. Its great for those who want a bit more "sophistication" or gadgets than the Mustangs and other muscle cars can offer, but don't want to sacrifice performance. If you think about what you are getting, those cars...
