Need buying advice - '69 Grande

It sound as if you really rather have something else. (i.e., Sportsroof w/ manual tranny.) If I were you, I'd hold off. You'll just end up selling later to purchase what you wanted to begin with. (been there, done that.)

    air in coolong system

I recently installed a new thermostat. Now, it seems I have air in my cooling system that I can't get rid of. :bang: I can hear the air pockets gurgle, and when they pass thru the water pump. It will also spit a small amount from the overflow, until the thermostat opens. (I may have...

    hard starting

The plugs, wires, cap and rotor are all new. I have the Mallory type of ignition. (no points) How do you time a car with vaccum? Also, the carb. is new, so hopefully that's not the problem. Sometimes it will backfire while starting, as well. Thanks for all your help so far.

    hard starting

Hey all! I'm a little stumped. My car (302 4v C-4) is a PIA to start when warm. (Have to crank several seconds to get it to fire). It starts perfectly when cold, and runs great in every other aspect. Here are the things that I've checked so far: 1) carb adjustment (Used vac gauge)...

Opinions & thoughts on mustang trim & the shaving of it.

I would leave the door handles & the 289 badge. I think removing the lower fender badging would clean the look up without making it too bland. (A year from now, if you change your mind, just remove the filler from the holes.!) I'm in the same boat as you, I have a '66 GT350-H...

As Blake said, he asked for suggestions. Personally, I could care less what he does with it. He asked for ideas, I gave them. Simple as that.

Try lowering it about 1" all around. Ditch the chin spoiler & put a "Talbot" mirror on it (instead of the black). Then, "de-badge" the fenders and the quarters. (along with the flame sticker thingy). I for one, would like to see what some clean lines and a different stance would do for your...
