    1989 LX 5.0L is what i dropped, it still has the forged pistons and a hydrollic roller cam, i shined it up a bit to it looked as good as it performed :D

    so just installed a 2 5/8" tach behind the steering wheel and im only getting up to around 3000 rpms before i have to swith gears, is this normal for an 1989 5.0? i see people posting up to 6000 rpms and i was just curious

    exhaust leak on '89 5.0 in '70 coupe

    i tightened up all the header bolts because they had a bit of a leak and backed off since i ran the motor but now when i put my hand to the rear end of the heads, theres a hole that exhaust is shooting out of any idea of what these holes are for and if they have a thread what thread...

    well today the hood was put back on and went on without an issue...no re-adjusting, also we will take it to the exhaust shop for 2.5" and flowmaster delta flow 40's :)
