    The guy said in another thread its 8:1.... Sounds like if people are breaking stuff they don't have the right parts, and clearly it would cost more then $600 to do the turbo setup. If he had more then $1500 in a turbo setup though I'd be suprised. Friend just built a turbo car in week...

    Their are very little headaches if you have a clue what your doing. Whats in it for a cam? I don't care what you put in it, the car isn't going to make squat for power NA with that low of compression.

    Throw the 3550 out the window. Put a auto in if your doing the turbo. And wtf is it with everyone saying nitrous for low compression? Turbo setup itself wont cost much, but the fuel upgrades and such will add up.

    what year block is the best to build

    Maybe for this application but there is nothing wrong with a good ol F303. I have READ that the 87-89 or 90 blocks are a little stronger then the other roller blocks, not sure why or even if its true.
