    99 GT: owners manual says 5, I changed it today and by golly their right. 5 quarts puts it at the top of the MAX on the old dipper. Speedy Lube kept telling me 6 and charging me for an extra Q@ $6 per. So I said thank you I'll do it myself.

    The reason all the aftermarket shifters feel that way is because they are solid billet or steel. The stock shifters are two piece steel with a nice rubber shock absorber connecting them. That piece of rubber soaks up the clunkyness (if thats even a word) you feel shifting into all the gears...

    Got'em on mine and for the price you can't beat them. As far as I know they hook up as good as any of the others at the track. Work well for me at the 1/4 mile.

    Just got a pair of rear qtr reflectors for my 99. I'm putting on clears to replace the stock reds. Only problem is, I don't know how to get the stockers off. I can barely get my hand up inside the fender to reach them so there's no way to get a visual on it and I don't know what's holding...

    On the way to work today I look down and see that the Speedo and odometer aren't working. Not really that big of a deal since now it's not registering miles put on the car. But shortly after that the dreaded "Check Engine Soon" light comes on. Then getting off the freeway the idle is all over...
