    Ram Air

If you wanted to replace your hood, you could get this one. http://www.suncoastcreations.com/hoods_auto_99-up_mustang.htm It looks nice and is one of the few functional hoods I've seen. http://www.suncoastcreations.com/hoods_auto_99-up_mustang_hood.htm

Installed my turn downs today and took off the catback

Check out the other thread started a few days ago about electric cutouts. If you like the sound so much but don't like the empty looking backfield why not put a set on and then you can run both and be mean on request with a flip of the switch.

Mach I Chin Spoiler, is it tough to do?

Has this subject been beat to death yet!!!!!???!?!?!?!? First of all the chin spoiler looks good on the GT's Second, I did a search for "chin spoiler" and came up with 2 pages of hits. Why is there yet another thread started on this subject, especially from a person with over 1600 post...

Electronic Cutouts... how much do they help the 4.6?

I'd like to get a set just for cruising. Having them open until you get pulled over and then close'm and say what are you talking about officer that wasn't my car at 115db. They'd probably help out on long runs with cars with a little more horsepower. After you run through 3rd just flip the...

fuel filter.. when to change and how much should i pay?

I could only imagine how little fuel is being pulled through that filter after 40K miles. Every 3rd-4th oil change.

    Hood Gas Shocks Group Purchase

And if you think it's still a little off measure it again. YES you do need a strong grip. At first I thought I was doing something wrong and then POP it was in. Go with the good rivot guns, not that expensive for a craftsman, then you can help your buddy put his in. If there is anyone in...

    Hood Gas Shocks Group Purchase

The only time you'll touch the top of your hood is when your washing or waxing it. I put mine in a few months ago and don't miss the stupid hood prop one bit. About 18-22 inches (or half closed) the struts give way and no longer hold the weight of the hood, so all you do is let go and let it...

    15000 Service

Depending on where you live. I seen some gas that looks like it's run through a dirty garden hose. In the case of a fuel filter, over kill is not a bad thing. You can never have gas that is to clean.

WHO HAS HIGH MILE'S ON 4.6

78,000 on my 99 and I can still get a third gear scratch and 24mpg on the highway.

    15000 Service

Suspension lubes are pretty much a thing of the past. From what I've heard, the Mustangs are now lubed for life. The only reason to go to a dealer and get service done is if you lease the car or it's a warranty fix. Once I drive mine off the lot it doesn't go back until I trade it in. You...

    Oil filter magnets

http://www.lube4life.com/magnets.htm http://www.filtermag.com/ Here's just a couple of places I've visited frequently. Filtermag seems to be a very good product, I've never used one but it looks good and sturdy.

01 GT - Hate the seats & exhaust sound

Where did all the short drivers come from. I will agree the seat backs suck, the lateral support sucks and being 6'6" it's hard to shift and turn to the left at the same time. I could really use another 2 inches of leg room along with fixing the other problems. I'd like a set of aftermarket...

BFG DR 295/35/18 on 9" Roush Wheels

I'm running 275's on 8's. Plus you want a little side wall sticking out past the edge of the rim otherwise you'd scratch up the edge of your rims on the curb parking.

    removing air silencer

Your right about the performance being negligible but the only time you'll be sucking hot air from the engine bay is driving around town and anywhere under 35 mph. Above that your pushing enough air through the grill to keep it flushed out. When I take mine to Infineon I'll pull the pass...

    removing air silencer

Yes, I have a 99 and I took mine off. It's more of a snorkle than a silencer. Sucking air straight from the fender. I didn't really notice any extra noise, but then again I'm running 2 chamber flows and might not be able to hear it
