    Double clutching??????

    double clutching is what i do on our dump trucks. those old Mac trucks wont go into gear with one shift. if you try you will grind the hell out of it. thats why when you see a truck grinding gears really bad its becuase he doesnt know that he has to double clutch it.

    Pro 5.0 Shifter ?

    I have a Pro 5.0 in my 95 cobra and a steeda trix ax in my 99 cobra. the steeda has the shorter shifts and feels the best to me. the steeda has a more solid feel to it also. of course this is only and opinion.

    Muffler v. catback

    you do NOT have to cut the catback on 99+ cobras with IRS. just undo 4 bolts, and pop it out of the exhaust hangers. takes me and my girlfriend 10 mins to take mine out. magnaflow has a good system. I have one myself. if you go with magnaflow i would stick with an X pipe not and H pipe...

    not 50 or 60. just dont go a couple thousand more miles over. It depends on how your drive your car. If you drive the crap out of it change the oil regulary like 3000 miles. if you drive it easy you can probably get by with 4000 miles. It also depends on what oil you use too. Im sure...

    Bassani X-Pipe Install

    it should bolt up. first try a 15mmm, if it slips and try a 9/16. a 9/16 bolt is inbetween a 15mm and a 14mm. i use this method on my car cause i have already stripped some bolts. if some are already stripped use the 9/16 and beat it on to get the bolt off. then go buy a new one.

    Im am intersted in doing the 31 spline conversion on my 99 cobra. All you had to do was change the carrier and the halfshafts? If there was anything else how about let me know. I busted my diff at the track last weekend so im looking to upgrade it, thanks

    03 Cobra 12 mm IRS bolts vs 14 mm bolts, no difference.

    did you notice how big the stock bushing was? On my 99 cobra you could not fit a 14mm bolt into the stock bushing. the front stock bushing was the same size as the rear stock bushing. Only after i put the MM irs bushings in could i put the 14mm bolt up front.

    i think hes talking about the irs diff brace. From what i have heard the answer is no. the thing that will help the most is the MM IRS subframe bushings. cuts out about 90% of mine. good luck

    Which cat back system for Bassani x-pipe w/ cats?

    you want a magnaflow catback. It screams at WOT but at cruising you can barely hear it. I have a off road bassani x pipe and magnaflow cat back. At a certain RPM you cannot even hear the exhaust. I love mine.

    Steeda timing adjusters

    this is a good alternative yet an expensive one. T/A is a cheaper solution to people with more mods in the future and do not want to dump $$$ for a dyno tune for every mod they get. But after your about done with hp mods, dumping the timing adjuster and getting a good tune is the best way to go.

    you didnt install it right. mine worked great for me. if you dont install the crank bolt right then you car will act crazy.

    i paid 350 for a 99 cobra with IRS. i supplied 4.56 gears and they supplied all new bearings and everything. i think you are getting screwed
