    96 Cobra hood Clearance???

    Sorry I do not have an exact measurement, I have heard the trick to really finding out is to put some playdoh/clay(in your case 1inch thick) on top of the intake and see if it hits. I'll see if I have any at home and see if there is an inch of room to spare under that hood.

    I have the 96-98 cobra hood with a TFS intake with no clearance issues but I do not have a spacer between the upper and lower. The buldge in the hood lines up with the intake pretty nicely that might give you the xtra room.

    They'll fit on GT's but not cobras due to brake clearance. Even then you may have to modify(grind) some material of the caliper. If you want to do no modifying then do not get the deep lips. I was going to get those from discount tire and talked to there reps and was told all that info. Hope...

    Thats how I had to do it, pair of needle nose that multitool you can get at autozone or whereever doesn't fit right.

    I would check them when you think about it just for peace of mind. I have never really had a problem with the retorque after 50 miles- it holds up for me.

    Let us know if you have any problems with the ebay rotors I have read alot of hearsay and conjecture that they are not worth buying due to warpage and cracking.

    How did you get your drive shaft bolts off?

    Damn I dont remember what they are or how I got mine off. I'll have to see if I still have em at home(I save old nuts and bolts comes in handy).
