    Convert 99 Center Trim to 01+ Center trim?

    A little off topic, but.... Why did you wait 2 years to obtain it? I just pulled mine out and painted it (along with the defroster trim and the HVAC knobs) with some left over paint when I did my Bullitt scoops. So now I have a psuedo-IUP that matches perfectly my Mineral Gray exterior...

    I've also got the Shaker system on my '01 GT 'vert. I would say in all, I've probably got $1500 invested in the modification (Mach 1 hood and Kar Kraft shaker kit). It is soley about looks, and not about performance. I love the way that it looks and the way it shakes.

    I purchased a generic mount from Circuit City (I can't remember the name of it). I mounted it inside the center console and ran the wire underneath the center console up to the stereo.

    Doesn't just work for the 99-00.. it works on all Mustangs after 99. I've performed this on my 01 a few times.
