    Headlight bulbs

The best Bulbs are the Sylvania Xtravision, which is an uncoated bulb, or the GE Nighthawk which is also uncoated, the Sylvania Silverstars are coated, as are the GE Nighthawk Ultra. PS, you do need to upgrade the wiring if you want full output, any bulb you use with be 15 - 30% brighter with...

    Headlight bulbs

HIDs are not an upgrade to a properly upgraded halogen setup, largely because HIDs have maximum glare for the light output, improper focus unless a proper projector is used, and poor color rendering. As I stated above, its not just wiring, I said an upgraded relay harness, it comes as a plug...

    Headlight bulbs

Also no bulb will produce its rated output unless you upgrade to a headlight relay harness.

dual plug heads to a 81 turbo

Maybe so, often the "loss of top end" is compared tot eh low end. The top end with the roller cam is the same as the old cam, but you get more low end. I guess they way to sum up though, is the 8 plug head is not needed, and adds a lot of complexity to your project, and the roller cam doesn't...

dual plug heads to a 81 turbo

The roller cam holds certain valves open longer, and opens and closes them more gradually, resulting in an increase in low end torque and fuel economy, while still keeping the top end power. Trust me, the roller cam is an upgrade. It also runs quieter and puts less stress on the lifters.

dual plug heads to a 81 turbo

Because the roller cam is considered an upgrade replacement to the previous cams. It can be used without any tuning modifications.

    Hello all

I am new here. I don't have a Mustang, but I do have a 1987 Thunderbird Turbocoupe, which shares some things in common with the Mustang. I liked the support on this forum, especially as compared to most of the Thunderbird forums.

dual plug heads to a 81 turbo

    electric fan questions

If you get the higher end Flex-a-lite electric fans, they can push 3,000 cfm on singles, and upwards of 5,000 cfm on dual fans. They are noisier than stock fans, and those numbers are probably optimistic, but they are rated the same way OE fans are, so as a relative comparison, it is still...

    Interior removal

Ask a stupid question get a stupid answer. Remove the dash. Take your time and pay attention. Use ziplock bags to put any hardware into, and label them so you know where they go. There is not much to it.

    A4LD Wiring help

If you swap in a manual, I hear you can wire some resisters in to simulate the load of the solenoids. Just measure the resistance of the solenoids, then go for a high wattage rated resistor of the same amount. As far are using an A4Ld, I would swap the wiring, myself, I don't like doing swaps...

    1992 Clock Spring

I'm interested in this. I'm not currently having any issues, but I do own vehicles that are old enough that these parts are probably obsolete, nice to know if there are alternative ways of doing this.

    This forums a joke

I agree. I just joined this site because I find lots of good information about the 2.3L turbo engine. I agree, removing a dash is not difficult, get a good service manual, I have not seen very many forums ever post diagrams except the occasional schematic. Its far more trouble than its worth...
