    Go with the 9# version. You WILL want more if you go with the 6#. Just take it to the dyno and check the a/f to make sure its safe and you should be good to go. :nice:

    KB's run fine in hot weather. Obviously you don't want to touch the case because you could probably fry eggs on it. Heat soak I guess is the biggest problem. I need to do some more datalogging to see what my intake temps have been recently. I have had no problems in cold or hot temps.

    It's actually still tough to keep from spinning through a launch. Stock gears work fine. The only reason I would ever switch is if I installed a T-56 and started running sticky tires at the track.

    I don't know about the centri's but I don't ever recall seeing a note like that in my KB manual. I've also never had problems starting mine up in freezing temps either. So I guess its fine.

    Mid pipe gaskets

    The only gaskets you should have are 2 for the exhaust manifold to heads and then 1 for the passenger side midpipe to manifold connection. I would just get it at the dealer.

    You can get the FRPP cover for about $160 through a dealer I know of in MN. Randy Stinchcomb on here also might carry them at a good price.

    I had my rotors nickel plated to keep the rotor from rusting. I've done it to the past 2 sets of rotors that I've had with no problems. A buddy of mine who used to run Master Power Brakes told me to use it. I think it costed me about $20 a rotor, but that might have been because the guy who did...

    For the price I'd go with an Eaton 31 spline setup with moser or strange axles. The cheapest place I found for them was MPH. They will have everything that you need.

    If you are going to get tuned, I think traveling a bit further for a dead-on tune is worth it. Tim or Ed can hook you up. :nice:
