    can't get no respect

I hate ricers, but many of the late model, 4door, front drive, family cars with V6s have upwards of 250-300 hp. So our outdated Stangs won't keep up unless you have some serious mods. You mention "potential of these cars".... if you're stock, you better be careful you don't get embarassed.

    black on gray interior???

Funny thing is I own 4 Capris and 3 of them I have put aftermakets seats in... and those are the ones I spent the least amount on... but they are hands down the most comfortable. The back rests are a little short and kinda look funny in the car... but it all comes down to comfort because I drive...

Pic request: Capri with cobra rear bumper and side skirts

The orange car in that pic is no longer a Capri... it's now a Mustang with Capri fenders & 1/4s. Seeing **** like that pisses me off.

    My builds!

Looks like you need to pick one and FINISH it instead of having a bunch of unfinished projects sitting around.

    need help please

No there should NOT be any tension on the fork when it's hooked up and the pedal is all the way out. There should be no slack in the cable but no tension on it either. Tension on the cable/fork will kill your throwout bearing in short order... it's no different than riding around with your foot...

Rear control arm bushing install question

You're better off just replacing all the arms instead of just the bushings... I mean you have to take the arms completely out either way, so why not just upgrade them and save the headache of dealing with the bushings and end up with the same crap stock control arms that you have now?

    opinions on rear seat delete

It really doesn't make sense to do a rear seat delete in a notch because it will weigh more than the stock seat set up, but in a hatchback, if you use the right materials it will reduce weight... slightly. I did mine because I never used the rear seat and wanted room for the sound system...

to rebuild my motor? or to swap it

I say do it..... it's not like Mustang guys ever get mad at swaps like that. Gets popcorn.

    Back Bumper WHEEL STAND!!

Dude you are completely out of control.... I laughed harder with each progressive picture. I could imagine myself reacting the same way and ending up with the same results. You are a true enthusiast, my friend.

    Driving your mustang yr round

I drive one of my '86 Capris during the winter... I just don't drive it when there's snow on the ground. Sounds like you've been slacking on the maintenance... you need to take the door panels off and lube everything like the lock linkages, window guides, etc., graphite lube in the lock...

    Anybody know what this is....

That's the cruise control brain... don't need it if all the other stuff's been yanked out.

Well, what is your winter project this year?

I hope to get the motor swapped out in my Suzuki Swift and get it back on the road.... can't beat 45 mpg. My Ranger needs a new motor and the Capri needs the interior completed... whew!

    Paint: Kona blue or DHG?

I like the way, "and delete my sunroof" just rolls off your tongue. Have you gotten any estimates on that "simple (haha)" little job of deleting a sunroof? What are you gonna have him do... weld in a patch of sheet steel, then bondo it? The welding will cause all kinds of warping and getting...

    AC delete? pics!

What you talkin' about, Willis? The PS pump most definitely does NOT look funny sitting up high with a factory AC delete bracket..... in fact, it's about as symetrical as you're ever gonna get on an engine. Putting it low is what looks funny imo.

Found out the hard way my engine hardly runs on 87

The octane shouldn't affect it to the point it won't idle... the worst you should notice is some pinging under hard acceleration if you have the timing advaced to run on 93. My guess is the gas was bad or had water in it..... or you have some other problem that you're not aware of.
