    sweet so its your old man's ride huh? the paps always got the faster car lol. my dads got a 69' mach 1 with a basically stock 3 speed. his sick car is the 68' fastback. 289 hi-po with F303 cam, AFR 185 heads, 4 speed manual with 4:11 gears. that sick mother will clean a trans am 400's clock

    man, just slap a 3/4 race cam in there, put your stock 289 heads back on with the 1.7 rockers, if its automatic put a 3200 stall and 3:50 gears, if its stick slap 3:90's in that beast, and rock and roll

    Hey everyone, Im building my motor and i want to replace the old 8" rear in my 70' stang with a new 9" rear. Ive heard of all different types of manufactures such as Strange, Currey, etc. I was wandering if anyone had any reccomendations for strong 9" housings? thanks!

    man, first of all it is safe to go with an alhpabet cam. E303,B303,F303,X303 they all are great cams and will kick some butt on the street.people just say **** like "oh those cams suck" because they are old and arent the newest stuff out. which that dont matter, ive seen stangs with E303's rape...

    Definetly go with 3:55 gears if ur running a 3 speed automatic. 3:73's are way too low for a 3spd auto, for just cruising. holley makes some great carbs but dont go with that vacuum seconday stuff, it sucks. even with the lighter springs they dont fully kick in until like 6 grand. go with...
