    Try Performance Mustangs near downtown Houston off main street exit & I45 north. There are plenty of shops around here.

    Most shops are not really that strict unless your car is really below par when it comes to exhaust. Fumes, smoke,hole in muffler \ pipes etc ... IMO, you will not have a problem.

    Yes, Houston has plenty of good Ford Dealerships, shouldn't be much of a problem for you to find work in one in that area.

    Inspections here in Houston run around 36.00 plus taxes, under $40.00. They do the basics checks like signals,horn,brakes.lights,emmision testing ... You can get it done at most gas stations. I can hook you up with a good mechanic if you need your inspection done & don't want to be taken.

    Tailpipes on my car, yes or no?

    Tailpipes would be a better sound in my opinion. I had a flowmaster setup installed on my Stang back in January & it sounds nice. I have the h-pipe setup with flowmaster mufflers. I like to hear my stereo without having to drown out the motor. Less noise in inside ,but still sounds great...

    fuel gauge says full

    Most likely, the sending unit. I had the same problem & had the sedning unit repalced, problem solved. I like knowing how much is in the tank, i would hate to run out of gas here in Houston on a freeway.:D
