    there was a person on here by the name of 393BOSS that was waiting to get some stage 3 flairs from MAS and was to post some pics of them taped on the car. those flairs pictured above should be moved up the fender some. they look to low.

    2.3 road racers in here.

    i race a 1987 mustang with a 2.3L in the scca also in the ITB class. for the front springs i would go with 800 lbs and for the rear springs i would go with 325 lbs, also use the front GT sway bar and a 3/4" bar from a turbo or v8 t-bird for the rear. for rims i would go the stock 15x7 10 hole...

    ECT ?

    what i am trying to do is to change the duty cycle of the injectors, that way they stay open just a little bit lomger to get more fuel in the cylinders. right now i'm running 50 PSI of fuel pressure and she runs lean on the higher rpm range, just trying to get more fuel into the motor.

    Does any one know on the ECT sensor which wire to splice and install an adjustable trim pot in order to change what the ECU is getting. what about the value for the trim pot? what i am trying to achieve is a richer mixture of fuel and air . thank you :nice:

    AOD now in a 78' Mustang

    Thanks for the info 78CobraII. I think i'll go that route instead. Switching the components you mentioned is a piece of cake. Just what the wife will want to hear from, honey i'm getting another car :D . At least going this route will let me drive it more often on the highway. Thanks again.

    instead of adapting an AOD tranny to the excisting motor why not just pull a motor and AOD tranny combo from the donor car and just put my intake and carb on it? if thats possible do you know which engine and tranny combo from what years would work the best or easiest? thanks guys:nice:
