    I thought about lemon law too and decided against it unless it's a last resort because 1) They're not gonna replace my 2001 Cobra for a 2003/2004 Cobra 2) I was laid off work for a while this year and had to file chapter 13 bankruptcy, so even if they bought the car back I couldn't finance...

    They'll fix mine since it's pretty fubar, they told me to wait as long as possible so they can research this and maybe wait for something to happen. I work at the KC Assembly Plant, I'll have my union rep call his counterpart at Dearborn assembly and see whats up.

    but of course it is, c'mon we all should know by now that if Ford or any other manufactuer for that matter don't know what the problem is they chalk it up as "normal" That's fine I'll keep driving it the way it is til it's really fubar and they can fix it again.

    Yea, if the dealer won't do it take it to another one and/or call the customer service hotline. I'd try to get it resolved through the dealer first, they tend to get upset when they get a call from the customer service people, but then again if they would have done the right thing in the first...

    I reduced my fluid and put in the Royal Purple fluid immediately after they fixed it for the third time. I must say it was better than when it was new. It was great and I loved but unfortunately it started popping out of second and is getting worse. Trying to make it live until the TSB comes out.

    6-8 psi with a good tune is plenty safe, some run more and haven't had problems. It's all in the tune and good gas. A buddy of mine that's gonna help me did a 99 Cobra and he was well into the 4xxhp range and deep into the 11's with 6-8 psi, P1SC, 3 core IC, 03 Cobra fuel pump, 42lb injectors...

    The 03 halfshafts is a direct bolt in swap on 01's ? I thought the spline count was different :shrug: I think I'm just gonna swap a 03 rearend in mine, I think the whole setup would be an upgrade over mine.
