How on earth do you hook up a boost gauge?

I just looked at the directions on the autometer instructions and it took all of about 10 seconds to put the whole line contraption together. Worked fine for me?

HELP ME, PINGING PROBLEM, NEXT STEP = SUICIDE !!!!

Did you buy the C&L with the car? If it has alway's been like that and you bought it with the car than I would suggest that you borrow someones stock MAF and try that. C&L's aren't top quality in my opinion.....could be the prob.

    2-?'s---Sony Radio Install/Painting the Bezel

You asked in the other post if we thought the sony was good or not..... Ok I'm not a huge fan of sony car audio. I think that their quality and functions are below that of pioneer and alpine. They however make excellent stuff for home stereo's and tv's and such. My buddy just got that same HU...

    Upset and Angry....Losing Interest!!

Hey man you can't go wrong with either alpine or pioneers but I would consider getting them online at ikesound.com and buying the harness's and doing it yourself. Just save the extra money you'll have. I got stuff there and was really happy with it and the service. Good luck

    wheels spacers are sweet

Any Quality wheel spacer like H&R's or eibachs are fine for whatever you do. They don't put anystress on the studs because the use built in studs so you don't loose threads on the studs that hold the spacers on, or the ones that hold the wheels on.

    Upset and Angry....Losing Interest!!

I do see where you're coming from RC. I just hate how these cars are never done and are just big ****ing money pits. I know that they don't need to be modded but I just can't stand driving the same damn thing as everybody else. The thing I can't stand more that the same **** as everybody else is...

I just got my explorer motor, now what cam should i get for my efi?

Uh.... I am not sure that they have a different firing order....You still wanna change the cam though. THey benefit alot from a little cam swap. I would get a crane 2031 cam and buy trickflow's valve spring kit and call it good. Should put down 270-280 at the wheels.

Think these heads would be ok for a 347?

They could be bigger with a stroker like 185's but you would still wanna get the 347 if that's what you want. Your car will still make more power and torque even if you just have the 165's. If you already have the stuff just keep it.

    soo...

Yeah guys... It won't be a big v6 stomping..... It will be within 3 carlengths. 99 and up v6 cars are not dogs like the previous years and sn95 5.0's are the slowest ones made. His car has run high 15's at the track and I can promise you that the guy with the gt won't get into the 14's...
  16. ChromeYellow94

    soo...

It will be a close race and will boil down to who the better driver is. You guy's all have to remember that the 95 could have things wrong with it that will make it even slower than it should be. LIke a dirty MAF and other things. Transmissions will also make a big difference too.... With...

    Icing the intake

Running you car right off the trailer and icing your intake for 20 mins are two very different things. You are right. With the whole motor colder and especially on a fast car it will make a helluva difference. Just don't anybody else expect to gain **** when putting a bag of ice on the intake...

    Icing the intake

:bs: I think that the driver and other factors got you that extra 4 tenths because even if you had your intake ate -50degree's it still wouldn't do that much. Expecially not on a N/A motor. Just didn't think it should be left posted like that. It is very misleading.

12.99 in sight! ...or is it?

I would try and get that car to run faster N/A before worrying about the Juice. Mid 13's should be no problem for that car with Dr's

What's the stock power for a 96 cobra?

It would run low 14's with the stock tires....Good driver can get them in the 13's but yes he stands no chance....
