    Finished everything yesterday, wasn't too bad at all. The balancer came right out just using the tool. Honestly the biggest pita was getting the old gasket off the timing cover

    The rubbers not coming out, its brand new about 10,000 miles on it. It seems like the diameter is slightly bigger than the factory one even though its an oem spec ford racing one. Oh well, got the balancer remover tool so I'll see how that goes tommorow.

    This one is a pretty new oem replacement from ford racing, like 10k on it. The w/p and crank pulleys are off, thats not the problem. It just that the rubber from the balancer is almost touching the bolt to the point that I'm nowhere near fitting a thin wall socket in there.

    I didn't need to change the crossmember when I did the swap. Secondly, that kit is overpriced a bit. Just get a used clutch fork, used or new flywheel of your choice, and everything else separately from summit or wherever and you should come out spending significantly less.

    85k on the engine, changing the timing chain because its pretty slack and convenient while we're changing the front end gaskets.

    Like what, Im changing the timing chain and I figured it'd be a good time to do something mild and cheap. The car only has full exhaust, but will probably get more and more stuff over (a long) time.
