    well if you have stock compression or lower i wouldnt worry about retarding the timing. Im gonna keep mine at 14 and run a 100 shot, i have stock crank,rods and forged pistons.

    nice, they use a high nickle alloy, might wanna call and ask them the specifics. i think you could prob just copy the stock gears and how they are cut and if your boss can make those i have cash waiting!! see if he can duplicate the mainshaft also. keep up posted! Drew

    i advanced my stage 1 cam 2 degrees and now im only pulling 5 inch of merc. When i had it dot to dot it pulled about 15 and now only 5! My car runs great though, no surging or anything. is this normal when advancing a cam? any info would be greatly appreciated thanks Drew

    Ok here's how it went down!

    Helical cut for the normal trans straight cut for the race version and clutchless shifting!! the regular g force trans is noisier than stock because of the angle the gears engage. I priced one out and it was 1100 for gears, 300 for mainshaft upgrade and 180 for rebuild. if you do it yourself...
