    x pipe or h pipe

The power difference between the two is pretty minimal and the h will put out a tad more low end torque while the x will give more upper RPM power. I would make the choice based on sound preference. The H gives a lower muscle-car type sound while the x is more raspy.

any news on cnl lower intake

I spoke with Lee last week and he said summer is likely when they will be ready. This assumes everything from here out runs smooth and is based on products they have brought to market in the past.

    Spec Stage 2 Clutch

SPEC has recently gone to a Timken fiber bearing that should eliminate all squeeling. I believe they did this about two months ago but not sure how long before their inventory of pre-packaged units with the old bearing ran out. I would suggest calling SPEC and informing them of your challenge...

Help with a sick '95 Cobra

Very well could be the clutch but you should smell the clutch burning after getting on it and on the dyno. You need to check for codes first then go from there. This problem could be so many things but here is something else to check for. You mentioned the trunk mount batt... double check...

How much do upper/lower control arms help

wishihadastang125 "anyone know anything about steedas new control arm?" Steeda has several fairly new arms. They have the billet weight jacker lower arms that allow you to change the ride height in the rear with a quick turn of a 1/2" ratchet. This can be beneficial for running slicks (to...

Added 20hp with C&L combo! Dyno results here

Highroller: "I got a dragon Plenum and a 75mm Throttle body (accufab) I didn't feel crap.. what gives.." I do not have any experience with the dragon but we have sold quite a few of C&L's plenum and several Accufabs too and we have had sooooo many responses back about the improvement both...

    Trick Flow Track Heat??

I would recommend the first kit due to the greater torque production. If you ever planned on adding an S/C, the track heat would do better and thus be a better choice now.

Corbeau CR1's???? anyone who has had em or another Corbeau seat come in..

You should be able to find them for about $800 shipped. Did the $900 include brackets too? I hear you on the wide version! It is also quite a bit more expensive.

anyone have a chevy turbo 400 trans in their car?

The 400 is incredibly strong but it also eats up the most power (requires quite a bit to drive it).

    swaybar bushings

You may end up stripping the threads on the stud that the bushings go over if the bar is moving up and down on it. Spend $12 and get new bushings.

How much do upper/lower control arms help

Not only that but they will help protect your torque boxes (as long as they have poly bushings, not solid bushings). Stock rubber wears quickly and will allow your arms to act as a slide hammer when launching and banging gears.

Any Company Sell a 2 1/2" Catback kit with no Muffs?

You can buy MAC tail pipes for about $150 (pn 56690, LX or 65986, GT) and their flow tubes for less than $50 (pn 43800). The flow tubes hook to your mid pipe and run back to where your mufflers would be and the tails go up over the rear and connect to the back of your mufflers.

    Trick Flow Elbow

The TF pipe is still to new and I don't think many people have them yet. Based on the design however, I would bet that the C&L plenum will perform better overall. We will have to wait and see what happens.

    Is this worth it?

You will need MILs or a custom program to avoid the light.

Updated review of my 4.10 Gears!!!

Glad you are happy with the gears, and yes the 4.10s make the car come alive! As far as break in goes, you are supposed to drive the car for about 20-30 minutes then let it completely cool (like overnight). That is it. I always recommend changing the oil after about 500 miles just to make...

    Trick flow plenum is cheap!

I hear you. You will need an upper plenum more than likely if you use an aftermarket lower (maybe a package deal will come out?). C&L is working on a lower right now; stay tuned.....

    Trick flow plenum is cheap!

TF told us their dyno tests showed about an 8 HP gain and their plenum should be available in about a week.

Help! How to remove A-arm bushings?!?

We use a press. But in the past I have used a drill to make multiple holes, then beat them out. I have also used a welding torch to burn them out - smelly though!

anyone see any gains from the C&L maf to T.B. inlet tube

The tube will not gain much but it all adds up, plus it looks killer! Yes, the addition of the inlet tube, t. body and plenum will lean things out a little. Once you are done with your bolt-ons, get the car tuned for max results.
