    For a supercharger I think you'd be spending more than $3,000 unless you bought a used kit. Most kits are around $3,500-$4,500, some cost even more.

    Burnout at the track

    Are you on street tires? You don't need to burn out with those... just a "dry hop" to clean them off will work. I just drop the clutch from 3-4k and spin the tires for a second to clean 'em off. And the E-Brake won't help you any if you're trying to do a burnout. :)

    If you've got stock tires I would advise against powershifting into 2nd. You probably lose some time because of all the spin into 2nd. When I powershift I like to hover my foot over the clutch and then mash it like I'm trying to put a dent in the floorboard. I pre-load the shifter like...

    Oh yea, just a warning... once you start modding performance wise, you'll never stop. I started out thinking the GT was perfect stock, but then I got exhaust... then the shifter... then the gears... now i'm about to get pulleys, timing adjuster, and a steeda race wing... and I've got more...

    nah, he said he doesn't want to spend $5k in mods. :) Now, if it's a 5spd get a short throw shifter. Pro 5.0 or Steeda Tri-Ax, your choice. I went with the Tri-Ax and I love it. Improves the feel ALOT. Secondly, gears are a great mod. You'll get a noticable increase in acceleration...

    Why do people delete their spoilers? Aren't they functional?

    I don't like spoilerless, either. The stock spoilers weren't created with aerodynamics in mind, though. Just looks. So they don't really do anything. I bet that Steeda Race wing does stuff, though. That's what Steeda says and StangDriver5650 says that he feels a bit more stable at high speeds.

    Nice. :nice: I read your comments in the other thread and the 75mm T/B 'ought to help out alot too. I need to get my Pulleys and timing adjuster taken care of then I can go ahead and do the plenum, t/b, and maf.

    You get a few hp from it. Maybe 2 or 3. The best part about K&N's is you don't need to replace them. You just have to clean them every 10,000 miles or so.

    Got the car up to 125

    I don't go fast much anymore. The fastest I've been in the past month is 90, and that was like once. Having gone 150-155 I don't really feel a need to go back. :shrug: I like to accelerate hard as hell from stoplights, though. :nice:
