    Ass Wag

All the basics have been hit. Tires, Suspension, Diff. On a 79-95 Mustang, anything which hasn't been upgraded already is certainly due for an upgrade/restomod.

    Suspension Questions...

Yes, you need the UCAs which are made for 9" rear ends, because they're around an inch longer. If you use 8.8" UCAs and lengthen them, you won't have enough thread on the adjusters.

    Suspension Questions...

I've done suspension on a few LSCs. The a-arms are longer, so we use SN95 a-arms. The rear upper arms are longer, so we use UCAs for the 9" rear end. Other than that, the suspension is all pretty straight forward.

Post pics of how your foxbody currently sits

I have a lot of customers who street race and do "no prep" racing on the track. It's not hard to get these things to wheelie on the street. I figure it may only make 500hp or so with the junkyard motor, but if I can dead hook it on any surface, it should be fun. I will post updates. :)

Post pics of how your foxbody currently sits

Y'all are crackin' me up. I literally laughed out loud! (Hope I didn't wake my wife and the kids up) Anyway, the '86 has been in storage for over ten years. My dad is the original owner and I had been meaning to do something with it. Selling the Shocker was a heartbreaking deal for me, but it...

Want To Make My 05 Mustang Gt Louder!

Installing an offroad x-pipe (which I personally like) will make the car EXTREMELY LOUD if you have muffler deletes. (which I personally dislike) Just a heads up on the decibel level. :)

    Fox Lets Talk K-member

There is no flex in a UPR k-member for "spirited DD." I drove my Fox on the street with 1000+ hp and a bolt in UPR k-member. No problems. Keep in mind that while MM makes a nice k-member, it is heavier, and will also push your wheels forward in the fenders. Some people dislike the tire...

That's a great way to do it! I've had dozens of different Mustangs, but my Boosted Coyote is probably the best one yet. :)

    Launching In A Manual

Thanks guys. It's certainly much easier to drag launch on 15" slicks, but I prefer to race my cars on the track the same way I drive them on the street. Pump gas, street tires, etc.

    Launching In A Manual

Yes, there *is* a secret- raise the revs high enough to keep the engine in its powerband, but slip the clutch enough to keep from blowing off the tires. This takes A LOT of practice (and the clutch doesn't like it) but it is the fastest way to launch our cars on street tires. Tire &...
