    it was my first mustang. it was a 86 non mass air the guy i got it off of installed a cam. every 1 said it would run like sh?? because it did not have a mass air. i had the front sway bar off. the car was 2640 with me @ 240.

    put some tires on it. i got all my stock motor,with pulleys,gear cars run a best of a 13.40. your 60 foot time should be 1.8 or better. my best 60 foot was a 1.48 on street tires.

    u will need the efi dist. u will need to block off the carb fuel pump if its on the motor.

    on a conv there is some plates that only conv have stock. that is what he is talking about. they have them because there is no roof and its made to help but they are junk. i would just install normal sub frames and be done.

    when i did mine i got a camaro the bearning point is smaller so i just taped it with black tape but is a 26 spline.

    check the gear on the dist to see if the teeth are getting ate up. i put a mustang motor in a 82 f150 and the roller cam ate the gear off.

    he is not going to be able to change it. the f150 is not a roller block. also he will have to change the dist gear to work with a roller cam. i had a 82 f150 and it ate the gear off the dist in about 10 miles. i put a mustang motor in it.

    i am running 1 because of the power i was going to be making. i use the stock type with adj arms. i did mini tubs so im coiled overed. u can get them to just bolt in. then u have to get the brakes to work.

    u need to check to see if the intake is in the way of the spray bars.i would check that before u spray it. i had a 460 intake that was the same way. i was told to remove the clover leaf.

    u will have to grind the spot welds off so u can move the crossmember up. i want to say the driveshaft is the same its been a long and i had a head inj so i dont remember all.

    i did mine like that and i removed the top bolt and found a belt that was tight with no bolt in it and then i used a bar to get the bolt back in worked good. i seen a guy that redrilled the arms hole to get it to work
