410 gear install how much $

Yeah because ford gives the dealer the cars for free and the mean dealer charges you for it.. :p Ok being serious dealers really don't make a ton on new car sales if the customer is smart. The real money in sales is made on add on's, used cars and on trade in's if they bought it for a cheap...

    So....What's next??

If you can work on a car and have a place to do it I would spend the 3k on ported heads, cams, long tubes with shorty O/R x OR You could save the 3k toward going FI

Alright, I Want Back In, Now!!!

+1 I am sure thats what he meant. the modular blocks are very stout once you put the right internals in it. Thats why you don't see aftermarket modular blocks.. Not really needed

2011 V6s are gonna piss me off I know it

A stock 96-98 gt is like having a stock fox or a stock 94-95.. By todays standards they are slow in stock form but who the hell would keep it stock anyways. Just mod your sn-95 and you will always have the advantage over the V-6 11's because you have a V-8 and a large aftermarket...

cammed 2v's what do they run?

Depends how the car is setup and if the guy can drive. I used to see a very lightly modded mach 1 ( power wise) run at NED go into the 11's and he had slightly under 300 to the wheels. BUT he also knew how to drive, his was on 15 inch wheels with skinny's with 4.30's and his suspension...

Thats a doorman, get it off and get a ford PI.. A few years back a guy at MD back to back dynoed his car and gained 12 HP swapping back to the factory intake

Going to the track next week... results! 13.501 @ 103.75

A 13.20 would be great but I think my street tires are going to hold me back.. when I do go I will post the da number... should be good this time of year, plus Icheck before I go up anyways so I won't go if the air is bad

Going to the track next week... results! 13.501 @ 103.75

You've gotta check out this Vette

I never thought I would see a C6 vette that I would not drive.. If that thing came into my shop I would refuse to road test it because i would not want to be seen in it.

    Unhappy, HDX total crap

sounds like somebody packaged that first clutch wrong. BTW new parts can be defective, I have seen it happen many times at work, I don't mind because I get paid to do it again as a service part failure How does your flywheel look now?

    13.7 in lightly modded 2v

Do you mean his runs or mine.. I don't remember the exact DA numbers from the days I ran my old car because it was years ago but my best times were with a DA near 0... I ran once on a day with a negative DA but I added time to those runs for it. Like the OP my times were not impressive...

    13.7 in lightly modded 2v

He may not believe you but I do.. I will tell you why I believe it.. Your trap speed is exactly what I was trapping with a off road x and a K+N right around 101 with a good DA.. I went 13.8's with those mods with 60 foot times around 2.1-2.2

    13.7 in lightly modded 2v

It's possible.. depends on the DA.. My old 01 stock gt went [email protected] with a 2.1 60 on a unpreped track.. but the DA was near 0 That was at new england dragway back in april of 05 I wish I went up with that car on a Saturday or Sunday when they actually tried to get the track...

    Help with new factory clutch

yeah same here, I have used a firewall adjuster on both mustangs I have had and I recommend them to all mustang customers we have.. Well the ones up until 2004 :rlaugh: that would be bad if I recommended it to a guy with a 2005
