    Well, finally finished fixing the headgasket and putting everything back together after procrastinating for a couple months. Its running ok, but while trying to set the base timing, it won't run at 10 degrees. It runs fine at 5 degrees, but if I try to advance it any more, it just suddenly...

    I've autocrossed once, and from that experience I really want to do some more. I'm working on USAFA's FSAE race car, and the local autocross folks invited us out to an event. I got some rides and one guy let me co-drive his Miata for 4 runs. I never knew that going as fast as you could go...

    At least most of the time with a plane, its quick and you get a hell of a ride on the way down. Flying is fun. I liked doing it as a kid, still like doing it, so that's why I chose it for a career. Congrats on winning the contest man. I never win crap, and I've tried before.

    Mosquito Problem

    Back home we've gotten some bad mosquitos, so bad that your leg turns black from all the mosquitos. My dad has this surplus stuff from back in the Nam that he dug out of a trash-can at Mountain Home AFB. Smear some of that crap on and the bugs don't get anywhere near you.

    Meh, I go to school and get paid for it, not a bad deal. Academics are tough, and we gotta put up with a lot of BS, but I usually get my video game on during the week and then work on the cars and go out on the weekends that we have free. Can't really complain overall.

    I'd say go for smoked ones. But since you're gonna have silver 03 cobra wheels, you can get away with clear headlights ok.

    I got a buddy who just bought a decent 1964 Dodge Dart, minus engine and tranny for $400 off of ebay.....you might be able to find something similar. I've heard they are pretty light, but nto sure on specifics.

    Be careful with the taking off part. Did it once, and I'll just say that an eyeful of gas isn't a lot of fun.
