    Installed brakes - problem now I think

    I just replaced my rear rotors because of the same problem. I'm positive you have the same issue. Jack up the car, remove the wheel, and look at both sides of the rotor and see if they're worn evenly. If not, it's your problem.

    I bet smoothing it out inside would yield better results than porting it.. But I'm just talking out of my circle mouth behind me.

    You should definately have slide pins. Otherwise your calipers arn't working correctly. I just had that problem and had no choice but to get new caliper brackets (ford order only :notnice: ) and slide pins..

    Make your fenderwell intake USEFUL!

    He shouldn't get any maf issues since he cleverly left the maf right behind the filter and theres no curves before it. There wont be any turbulent air going over the sensors.

    If you're running on the oil, then yea - it'll smoke. :D It shouldn't smoke if you put it in the crankcase unless you have some blowby or something.. Change the oil soon though!

    Brakes on ebay..

    I just had my front rotors cut and the pads replaced but now the rear discs decided to groove out of control on me. They make a horrid grinding sound. I'm on a very tight budget, being that I'm 17 and insurance likes to take it up the butt, and need to get some parts cheap. I'm not a racer...
