    i used a sawzall too pita just take ur time and be patient. and i too feel the pain, i was trying to crack the bolt with a chisel and i missed the chisel and wound up fracturing my hand with the hammer. it still hurts :( LOL

    85ish upohlstery question.

    I have a pair of 85 gt seats that im trying to take the cloth off to remove the headrest and have them recovered, but i cant get them to slip off for the life of me. does anyone know where i could get directions or a write up? and also where can i get new cloth? TIA!!!

    okay i measured the backing plate bolt pattern and its the same as whats on my '73 9" the flange on the 73 axles is smaller than the opening in the expo disc. I didnt get to measure the distance between the axle flange and the face of the axle on the explorer. I see kits all the time on...

    Has anyone heard of swapping Explorer rear disc brakes onto a 9"?

    so what was the concensus on weither or not the expo brakes will mate to the early 9"s?? I have a 98 v8 expo in the drive and after I get the rear end (`73 9") out of my 67 tomarrow, I may tear apart my explorer to find out.

    you could snag the inertia switch and plug just for $h*ts and giggles. I wouldnt run an efi car without one, saftey first :P

    No front brakes!

    got me thinking about mine. so i cracked open the prop valve, sure enough the rod had traveled all the way towards the "front" end, severly limiting the pressure applied to the front brakes. I havent re-bleed the front yet but already I can tell a huge difference.
