    please help me find this rear emblem...

    That is almost identical to the ones that come on the new GT500's this summer. If ya go here: http://www.svt.ford.com/gt500/index.html and look at the gallery of the GT500, they have a close up photo of an emblem that is nearly the same. I'm guessing the photo you have is from a prototype perhaps?

    Nice color (reminds me of my little brother's old '71). Also don't have any info on the dashmat, but have heard that moleskin/felt is really needed during the tint job.

    Wider Bullits for the rear?

    uh, I meant 17 x 10. I want to get bigger wheels for the back that match the front two wheels (without having to retune the computer for different a different wheel size). If I go with a bigger wheel, I might as well just change all four and go with a different design.

    LOL "Vehicle has wrong rear end ratio gears 4.10:1? This throws off the whole engine calibration!!" What a joke. I would ask him how the engine knows what gears are in the rear end when the vehilce is in nuetral and running???? That dealer needs to have his service techs retrained or fired...

    That comment about the 87 octane gas is great. This thread has now turned into a "get higher octane gas for more performance" thread. Just do a search and some research and you'll find that the ONLY reason to use higher octane fuel is to prevent predetonation. Using 89 or 92 when your vehicle...

    Well, in the first part of your post you mentioned a diode in the alternator being listed as the exact cause of this code, but was replaced. It wouldn't be the first time I saw a faulty part replaced with another faulty part...just maybe trying to replace the alternator one more time???
