    Can't you just compress the piston by putting your old brake pad on with the c-clamp centered beetween the dual piston, then tightening it. Rich

    I have a bbk catted H, and it rubs on the drivers side trans cross member. I have not fixed the problem, so Im no help though.

    2004 MACH 460 SPEAKER REPLACEMENTS??

    Dont just change the speakers, because the factory speakers I believe are 8 ohm speakers (8 ohm system) and aftermarkets are 4 ohm's. So your bass will even be worse with the better speakers as Ive heard. Try a search on the audio section of this website.

    I just ordered some cobra mats from Dallas Mustang.

    I cant remember where I bought mine, but they are manufactured by ACC. I ordered mine with the snake, ordered in burgandy stitching to match my car.

    My input go for it, they are awesome tires. They stick like glue for handling compared to the BF's that came with my 98 Cobra.

    Polished or Chrome?

    Get the chrome, it is less upkeep, and also has a better shine. Chrome is a plating (which is heavier), and polished wheels are done by polishing the aluminum until you get a good shine. Best I can explain it. Rich

    Delayed return to slow idle...IS this normal?

    I had the same problem with my 98' a couple years ago (idled down slow, and would hang at high idle some times). Any way, it ended up the throttle body was bad (butterflies were not closing enough). It idles perfect now.

    Did you try backing up a little, and then taking it out of gear. Mine does this sometimes, and has not been a big deal.

    I installed a steeda brace on my 98 Cobra a couple years ago, and it was not too bad. Just make sure you mark the correct spots on the strut towers, and fire wall before drilling the holes. also you need to cut the plastic on the fire wall to fit the brace. also you need to remove the brace...

    New 99 Cobra Owner! Few questions...

    plain old valvoline 5w30 will do just fine also, as long as you change it every 3k. plus congrats on the snake, lifes short drive it, and enjoy it!
