    Both are on the tranny, one on the bottom, one on the top. Has nothing to do with under the hood, you're thinking too automatic :rolleyes: Only way to check your fluid level is to take off the plug up top and stick your finger in.

    1. Manual trannies dont have a dipstick 2. Yes the new trans fluid WILL help with the gear grind, and may or may not completely eliminate it. There is one plug to drain it and one to refil it up top.

    I agree that some cars with no cats sound bad, but others sound good. Personally, I love the sound of my exhaust. I felt some gains with the full exhaust...no loss of anything...

    275 up front is about the max. I have them on mine and they do not rub at all (1997 GT). I believe 315 is close to the max for the back, not positive, but I know 315 will fit.
