Painting upper intake and valve covers...
Ok...I have done 2 intakes and covers and intake plates. The coating on the 87-93 intakes can be pretty tough and bead blasting doesn't take it off. The bead blaster is GREAT for all the accessories though! I used Aircraft Stripper on my intakes. For the primer I used Sherman Williams Self...- capriman86

Just a FYI, I had a great experience with Hagerty. When I crashed my Capri last summer, from crash date to check in hand was 7 days. SEVEN! Allowed me to buy my car back at salvage bid price as well. They even paid for all the gas and toll when I went to go get it in NY where the accident...- capriman86

Thanks! I had the valve covers powdercoated in Gunmetal but I ended up painting my upper intake to match. SEM Gunmetal paint with a clear over that. :nice:- capriman86
