OIL PUMP SEIZES, BREAKING OIL PUMP SHAFT

Yeah. Time for the block to be flushed professionally (you probably have crud all through the oiling passages now), new pickup, new pump and probably new bearings. If I were you I'd go grab a cheap running motor from somewhere to keep you on the road.

OIL PUMP SEIZES, BREAKING OIL PUMP SHAFT

Sounds like your drive shaft looked exactly the same as mine. I had a pump fail on the outlap on a track on a brand new motor. Seems that the pump came built in with free bits of gasket junk. These lodged in the rotors between the rotor and the pump body wall seizing it. No amount of force...

    pinion angle question

Golf make sure you measure everything before you set it arbitrarily at -2 degrees. You leafs may alreay point it up in the air or toward the ground. You need to measure the angles in car and then work out what needs to change from there.

Seconded. This would be the quickest/easiest change that will get you in the ball park of correct.

    Not So Good Vibrations

The 5 degree working angle at the front is too much, and the difference between the two is too much. The working angles should be 2-3 degrees ideally, with absolute max of 4. The working angles should be within 1/2 a degree of each other. Have a look here...

    TKO600 Swap HELP!

If you're raising the motor mounts then you are more likely to need to cut the floor to correct the angle.

    TKO600 Swap HELP!

Rather than leaning they would need to be lower I think. This is one of those things where you need to do the math. Do a trial fit if you can, measure the angles, check clearance and work out how much you would need to drop them and if it is possible.

    TKO600 Swap HELP!

You'll probably have to modify something. Depends what angle you want to get, but I guess you have the options of motor mounts, cover plates and floor depending a little on your car's tolerances and your preferences. You might need one or more of the above. If you do it without modifying...

    TKO600 Swap HELP!

I've read a lot about this on a lot of forums and its the first I've heard of a new inspection cover, not a bad idea though. Mine is set dead on 3 degrees so it would still have been nescessary. What is the working angle on your car with that setup? (Note this is not the same as the angle of...

    TKO600 Swap HELP!

To get a TKO 600 in a 68 with normal motor mounts at a correct driveline angle it is mandatory to cut the floor according to the measurements I made. If you arent concerned with an angle over 4 degrees and a working angle over the ideal numbers then dont cut your tunnel.

    TKO600 Swap HELP!

Clutch might depend on your flywheel setup and clamping requirements. Generally a larger diameter results in more high rpm hp rotational losses but greater clamping power, given same clutch design.
