    Installed new TPS, no difference. It now revs from 1400-1800 and holds until the wheels stop moving. Its just not normal.

    On cold start up, it idles high for 20 seconds or so and comes down to about 800. Shifting seems to be doing better, but When I coast it sticks at 1500. When I back into my spot at work, I tap the gas and it shoots up to 1500 again until I park. Just doesnt seem right.

    Nope, not fixed. When shifting it drops to normal. Coasting is bad, shoots up to 1500.

    I did have the cai off of the TB with the car running, which threw the code is what I am assuming. Other than that, no. And the code is gone as well.

    Well, I figured it all out. It is either an aftermarket hood, or a hood from a different model stang. The holes in the hood are for the scoop to be functional. All of the holes in the honeycomb were also drilled out. Im going to need a drink.

    Correction- There are holes under my hood scoop. It pours tons of water on my engine when I open the hood.

    Told you I wasnt done. I did clean all the springs on the coils, but I also put new grease on them. But it is missing again. But it rained, and the hood scoop leaks. PO drilled vent holes under the scoop, and I think the engine is getting wet. Can rain and washing create this much headache?

    Dont think its the linkage. Rpm's get hung up after I let off the throttle. I checked it under the hood at the throttle body, with no slack on cable and the throttle completely closed. It comes back down after a few seconds.

    Throttle kept sticking on the way to work tonight. I tried pulling the pedal out with my toe, but it didnt fix it. Where do I start?

    New car acting up already

    I got it fixed. It finally threw a cyl 8 misfire so I replaced the plug and coil. I also replaced the rest of the plugs, and cleaned the springs on the coils. They had an funky slime on them. Im worried I aint done yet.
