    In CT we get a free re-test within 30 days... if the same in MD I would say pull the spout and MAYBE some fresh plugs and I bet you pass. Can't hurt to run some sort of fuel system cleaner ahead of time as well....

    I have done this to pass emissions. Do a search under my name to see what I did but I have tried this and using the G2P... I can't recall what my readings were after each of the different things (all of this was with a non functioning EGR).... This year I passed with flying colors...

    Changing my gauges

    Don't rule out putting 4 in the gages... My middle light burnt out and the holder was too deformed to hold a new bulb and my gages are pretty well lit with jsut 4 lights... I would change 4 of them and see how they look...

    Cobra Won't Start!

    Have you checked to make sure your coil wire is still on well? I jsut had a ploug wire pop off after 10k miles and while it didn't take me too long to find it it still had me stumped until I could look at it.

    Vibrations around 1700 rpm, balancer replaced...

    vibrations based on engine RPM are engine specific, speed related are gears and drveshaft... I am voting detonation... is your EGR working properly by any chance? My car did this when teh EGR was disabled (redneck bypass) and I ran 87 octane..... most of it went away with 93 octane.....

    Axle play??? Why me??? 1 project turns to 3!

    I would open the rear end to see what is going on. If the retaining shaft and C clips are all in good shape you should have no in/out play on the axle. SO pop the cover and check it out then report back.

    My first ticket

    Go to courtf, be polite, own up to it and it will probably get reduced... I did that with my last big ticket. Got it dropped from 21 over to 10 over (state minimum fine). It was reduced because I was polite at the side of the road and then in the courtroom....

    3300 is pretty good. I figured with the roll bar and all that you would have been at least 3450.... Did you also get a f/r on it?
