    Thanks for the feedback. From my reading on other threads I was under the impression that the supercharger wouldn't necessarily affect mpg because it wouldn't get spooled up under normal driving conditions...? Any more thoughts on how this works? The reason I was wary of changing heads...

    Yeah, I didn't word that very well. I meant what can I do besides going full bore and getting a forged rotating assembly. Sorry for the confusion. Game plan is still the same. BB1966 - maybe we could just trade cars straight across?:rlaugh:

    Thanks - very instructive. Had no probs getting it on with the jack under the LCA. I'm pretty sure the lower mounting hole is the right size for the granada spindle. I compared the spindles side by side and the holes appear exactly the same. BTW, is there anyone on here who has swapped...

    Learning alot about front suspension here. I put the discs on the mustang yesterday. When I was torqueing down one of the castle nuts on the ball joint stud I noticed the stud was turning with the castle nut (not becoming tighter). Is this normal, or does this mean the ball joint is damaged?

    The axle code is "3" It looks like all the bolts can be accessed. It's hard to tell because some sort of clamp/u-bolt thing is bolted right on the front of the housing. So, this must be an 8"? That would be fantastic.
