    Question about 4.10's

    My gears were put in by a mechanic with 3 <10 second mustangs and he said no need to break them in, i broke them in good though 1/4 at a time about 60 miles after the install, have fun, ps no whine at all.

    Yeah it was made for earlier mustangs but does fit a 2000 for sure, im running one now, no problems.

    I just put the same on in my car about 3000 miles ago and i used stock cable/quadrant it works fine. Just pull up the clutch pedal to reset the stock adjuster, my pedal fell to the floor at the end of adjustment and then i just clicked it back up to where it would engage/disengage correctly...

    As far as treadwear they still look new and ive had them on for about 4 months and i have no road noise at all. Im really not sure about the sizes especially on an 18. I went staggered for more traction in the rear and i really dont see the need for a 275 in the front.

    I am and i love them. Good wet dry traction and i was cutting 2.1-2.3 60 foot times at the track. I am running 245's up front and 275's on the rear both on a 17x9 wheel.

    installed T/A, so what does pinging sound like again?

    Is the tapping noise i hear while idle next to a building pinging? It doesnt do it under load unless my exhaust covers it up. My car and my friends 00 GT does the ticking, we can notice it most at drive through windows, i think mines louder than his is.

    Thanks for taking the time to do all that i believe it will be very helpful for everyone, i know it was for me, now if i could just get money for 4.10s and the install. I love the last vid, thats what sold me i was afraid the top end would be gone. Much appreciated. B
