    well then you run "x" speaker and power it off the deck. if you don't want to amplify speakers, then you likely won't get very good sound. you can't have it both ways.. even factory systems are amplified.

    just a heads up, i was told the pennzoil syncromesh is the same stuff for those trans. it's like half the price and you don't have to go to the gm dealer for it. i pay around $7/quart for it at oriellys.

    good deal. just be happy you didn't buy a "tko600". i educated myself real well after having, not 1, not 2, not 5, but 6 people try and sell me that trans as a tko600. finally found a real one on number 7. :mad:

    it should be a 26 spline input and 31 spline output already. you have an original "tko" there. rated for 425 tq with those options. a tr3550 is a 10 spline input shaft and 28 output. rated 375 torque. when you get into the tko500/600, there is more internal modifications making it stronger...

    you will pay more for any 4 lug brake upgrade, then a 5 lug upgrade from sheer supply and demand. there is literally little to no demand for high end 4 lug brakes.

    rick is doing everything. i sent off the last parts to him for assembly on friday. i decided im going to swap over to a tko600, manual steering, and meziere wp too. so all that will be coming before the engine goes in too. money is already tight enough, but i dont want to wish i did...

    Rick will be doing all of it. Aiming for high 500whp atleast. Ysi trim will go on if I ever get bored of this. I was happy with 420 on the street.. so I should be good. My battery, starter solenoid, ect are hidden. Nothing else is really deleted. Harness is still oem length.
