I didn't know that, good info! I was thinking along the lines of ackermann and camber curve gain. How are the HAL's?

Who would win between these two.

I've been in almost the exact same race. Yes, all Preludes are 4 cylinders. If its a H23 (2.3) then you'll most likely win, if you're motor is tuned well. If its a H22 (2.2), sorry he'll probably get you from a roll. You will probably get the jump from the start though.

Something to think about is that only the MM and Griggs ones change the geometry of the front suspension, all the others keep the stock (and compartively junk) geometry.

99-04 front & rear springs on FOX body?

i'm basing it on my 89 with full sn95 front suspension. On edit again: sleeper89: I take back what I stated. After rereading the original post, I see he was talking about using his current spindles. I was under the impression he was going with the later spindles as well. In which...

99-04 front & rear springs on FOX body?

(edited after spindle mixup) Springs fit right in, bullits will drop the ride height about 1 inch. struts bolt right in.

    Did I hurt anything?

Dont worry about it. Its never really a good thing persay, however even if you were running on 6 cylinders, its not going to destroy your motor or anything.

What does a rocker arm stud girdle do?

Subjected to high rpm's (high stress) the rocker studs tend to bend/distort causing the rocker itself to move a bit. The stud girdle ties all the studs together, much like a main girdle would. The benefits are more precise roller tip-valve stem contact.

    what size bolt?

I've always heard you can use an old sparkplug with the ceramic broken off. Otherwise use 5/8"-11. You may have to clean out the holes in the heads, some have a lot of carbon buildup.

    Is this too much head???

btw: If those numbers are of the heads i'm thinking of, they flow 320/235 (or so) at .6 lift.

What to do, what to do?

I didn't have a car freshman year of college, it taught me a lot about being resourceful and appreciating having one (now). If you have the money, get whatever is most reliable for yourself, and remember that most college students dont leave notes when they hit your car :nonono:

    Is this too much head???

As said above, its about the total combination. The biggest drivability factor will be the cam. At this point, you should be considering a custom anyway, in which case the grinder can take the flow and port size characteristics into consideration to move the powerband around with your specific...

Someone give me words of encouragement.

Yeah, i've heard that mixing the harnesses causes some problems... Just keep working at it, especially if the 86 is just a project.. small steps at a time!
